Sustainable City Conference
In partnership with recent investors in the city, Thoughtworks, and marketing and communications consultancy, Streets Consulting, we will explore how Newcastle and the wider region is progressing toward net zero emissions, with a focus on how inward investment can and is supporting this.
The UK is hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October - 12 November 2021. In Newcastle we are bringing together both the public and private sector, and academia, to explore how key economic sectors across our region are responding to the environmental crisis and discuss the challenges that lie ahead on the route to net zero. The event will spotlight our city's significant contribution toward environmental sustainability.
This one-day conference will consist of four mini-events bringing together expert panels. Sign up to each event you would like to attend below:
- Cities & Built Environment
- Clean Transport
- Life Sciences & Healthcare
