What could a PhD student add to your organisation in three months?
Newcastle University has funding from the National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF) to place PhD students in to companies for up to three months to help with innovation, R&D and problem-solving.
Innovation Placement funding is to be used for students working in areas of relevance to the Industrial Strategy themes:
- healthcare and medicine
- robotics and artificial intelligence
- batteries for clean and flexible energy storage
- self-driving vehicles
- manufacturing and materials of the future
- satellites and space technology
Placements can be up to 3 months and will be fully funded by the EPSRC via Newcastle University.
